Accommodation with selected environmental or community initiatives
Responsible travel is important to us, and when selecting the accommodation we feature, we consider a range of environmental, cultural and community-focused practices. We aim to work with suppliers and hotels that demonstrate efforts to support local communities, conserve natural resources and help protect cultural heritage.
Across Latin America, some of our accommodation partners have introduced initiatives such as generating renewable energy, recycling wastewater, growing produce on-site and supporting local and Indigenous communities. While approaches and achievements vary by property, we’ve highlighted a selection of hotels and lodgings that have made commitments in these areas, helping you make a more informed choice when planning your trip.
