May to September is the best time to visit Montreal with the warmest weather, the most sunshine and a wide range of cultural events. Summer (June-August) has averages of 18-27°C, while spring (April-May) begins cold and becomes mild in May. Autumn (September-October) can be very warm in September before cooling markedly in October.
