USA – Dallas and Fort Worth Stopover

5 days

  • Dallas, Texas

Overview & Highlights

Dallas Fort Worth International Airport gives visitors access to some of the most authentic towns Texas has to offer, like Grapevine, a charming historical town a world away from the busy heart of Texas, and Fort Worth, which offers veritable Western culture - each ensuring an interesting stopover for any traveller passing through.

You’ll start your 5-day stopover in Grapevine, walking along one of the very few fully-restored historic Main Streets, and following the area’s outstanding Urban Wine Trail before exploring iconic locations in Dallas, like Dealy Plaza, where President John F. Kennedy was assassinated. You’ll then make your way to Fort Worth where the world’s only twice-daily cattle drive still takes place and Texan life is warm and authentic. If you happen to be there on a weekend, chances are you’ll even get a taste of the local cowboy culture – giving you plenty to see and do before you continue on to your next destination.
