Overview & Highlights

This short, great value holiday includes Cusco, high in the Andes; the Sacred Valley of the Incas with towering ruined temples; and jungle-clad Machu Picchu.  An excellent choice if you’re short of time or on a budget.

  • Guided visit to Pisaq market and ruins, Ollantaytambo village and Inca fortress and the Sacred Valley
  • Guided tour of Machu Picchu
  • Tour of the city of Cusco and nearby ruins

This short private tour of Peru explores the Inca heartland in the Andes, and includes all the main attractions in and around Cusco. After landing in Cusco, you travel onwards by road into the Sacred Valley of the Incas. Next is a rail journey alongside the tempestuous Urubamba river through a narrow gorge leading to the Inca citadel of Machu Picchu, set on a mountain saddle above the valley. Conclude the holiday in historic Cusco, the former Inca capital and a treasure trove of meticulous Inca stonework and graceful colonial architecture.

What our clients say

97% of our clients rated their experience with us as Excellent or Good.

Overall the Nandu tour was a wonderful experience.  We have seen some stunning scenery, done some reasonably tough hiking and had some fabulous meals.  The JLA staff and their representatives have been first class and the food was excellent.  The accommodation was mostly very good too. It is a full-on tour so people going on the tour may want to chill-out somewhere at the end of the tour to relax as we did!
