Hacienda Puerta Campeche is a romantic colonial hacienda with restored houses offering accommodation in an exquisite garden in the centre of the city Campeche.

This utterly charming hacienda hotel in the graceful Spanish colonial city Campeche is composed of a small collection of 16th and 17th century carefully-restored buildings. It sits right in the centre of the city, the sights of which you can easily explore on foot.
Like other estates in the region, Hacienda Puerta Campeche was revived to create evocative, imaginative and extremely comfortable accommodation for visitors keen to envelope themselves in Mexican countryside and culture. In line with the attempt to hold on to the past, Hacienda Puerta Campeche has retained a lot of the colonial features from its affluent history:  crumbly walls, pillars and arches now define swimming pools and flowery gardens
Décor in the guest rooms is simple, using the ochres and russets characteristic of the region; polished tiles and sleek wooden furniture add to the atmosphere of cool elegance. There are two restaurants, a cosy library, and a rooftop bar with terrace overlooking the garden.

Our Expert's Opinion

The history that oozes from every corner of Temozon is one of the best attractions of this property – that, and the luxury of the bedrooms, the enormous swimming pool, the beautiful gardens and gorgeous food. Every detail in this hotel is designed to make you want to stay for a very long time!
