Opened in December 2016, Chablé Resort - some 40km from Mérida - offers a more relaxing and spiritual experience from the mass-market resorts on the Riviera Maya

Chablé has 40 spacious, contemporary deluxe villas scattered across an expansive property carpeted in tropical foliage. There's a free-form pool and plenty of tempting sun loungers. The spa is very much the epicentre of the resort, with pampering and meditation offered in nine treatment rooms, a steam room, a salt cabin and a floatarium.  There are yoga and meditation sessions in the garden. An extensive wine cellar enhances the sophisticated cuisine in the restaurant, while for those who prefer the spirits of Mexico, Chablé has the largest private tequila collection in the world.
