Where to go when - our guide to Trinidad and the Escambray Mountains

Trinidad

The weather in Trinidad and the Escambray Mountains is wide and varied

The graceful city of Trinidad is a UNESCO World Heritage Site which boasts incredible baroque works of art and a sensational music scene. Within close reach are sugar-white beaches, sparkling jade lakes and forested mountains which overlook the city. There are buzzing music events and spirited parades throughout the year, when the city’s cobbled streets become one huge dance floor. The best weather conditions are from December to May, with plenty of sun and comfortable humidity. During the wet season Jun - Nov, humidity increases and there is increased rainfall, with storms and hurricanes possible from August to November.
