December - February

The summer months in Aysén are the warmest, with temperatures peaking in January. Clearer skies and little rainfall make this a good time for hiking, fishing or horseback riding through the lush ancient forests. You may encounter more traffic on the roads as this is peak season for visitors.

September - November

Wildflowers bloom in the meadows and the ancient forests burst into life as temperatures begin to climb and rainfall eases off. This is a good time to venture out on a hike or to soak in the naturally warm waters of Aysén’s thermal springs. Wildlife is abundant in the pristine natural landscapes.
