OUR GUIDE TO the weather in the Mendoza and the vineyards

The self-proclaimed ‘land of sunshine and wine’ is studded with lush vineyards and overlooked by the snow-capped Andes. Mendoza can be visited at any time of year. Expect the highest temperatures and the most rainfall during summer (December - February), fiery red foliage in the autumn months (March - May), a dry, cool climate in winter (Jun - Aug) and colourful spring scenery from September - November. The extravagant Fiesta de la Vendímia wine festival takes place in March, with parades and folklore concerts.
