Cuba is a very family-friendly country so it's a good choice, especially as you're adventurous. We can tailor-make a trip for you according to your needs.

If you have at least two weeks, you can enjoy a mix of colonial cities and some very scenic areas of the countryside where you can do activities such as trekking, horseback riding and cycling at the same time as absorbing the culture. I can recommend several national parks in Cuba where it's possible to combine bird-watching, snorkelling, fishing and scuba diving, or just relaxing on the powder-white sand beaches.

However, if you have less time the best option may be to concentrate on one or two areas with a lot of variety, for example the beautiful and very well preserved colonial town of Trinidad, which is just a 20-minute drive from the beach and and 30 minutes from the mountains.

If you would like to improve your Spanish, a good idea would be to stay with local families at casas particulares in some areas during your trip. It is not only great for your language skills but gives a unique insight into life in Cuba, and we certainly can help you with that too.

If you'd like to discuss your options, you can call us on 020 8747 8315 or enquire online. In the meantime, you could take a look at our Family Cuba suggested itinerary for some inspiration.
