8 days/7nights.

General route?
Buenos Aires on to Montevideo, followed by Punta del Este and other areas.

Which was your favourite...
Place: La Pedrera
Hotel: Estancia Vik

Appeals to which type of traveller/client?
Searching for an off the beaten track and more relaxed holiday.

Key items to pack/take with you?

If travelling during winter (June – October) bring thermal underwear.

Parrilla in the Port Market in Montevideo are top choices. In general Parillas are great –lots of meat and chimichuri!

Room for improvement?
Longer seasons – at the end of Feb everyone leaves and it’s really quiet until Easter. Though that could also be a good thing.

How would you summarise/ sum up your trip in a sentence?

It reminds people of home – from every country. Every traveller feels it has something of their own country and feel at home.
