Ben fell in love with Latin America on a six month backpacking trip from Colombia to Mexico in 1995. Since then he has explored most of South America, including living in Peru for a year. He is now Manager of the Tailor-made Department.
For me the best time of year to visit Peru is from late April to October, when there is the least amount of rainfall. June would actually be ideal as it is the start of the dry season, and that is when you see the mountains at their most verdant. Plus there aren’t as many tourists at that time of year.
