Itinerary
Day 1
Arrive in Los Angeles, drive to Newport Beach and relax by the sea.
Arrive at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) and be taken by private transfer to your hotel in the picturesque harbour of Newport Beach about an hour south of Los Angeles. A relaxed location away from the hustle of LA, you’ll find peaceful respite with friendly hospitality in a beautiful setting. Relax by the sea, take a stroll along Newport Beach or head a few miles south into the Crystal Cove State Park which has 3.2 miles of beautiful coastline and 18 miles of hiking trails within 2,400 acres of inland wilderness. Dinner can be had at the waterfront restaurant or in the adjacent town.
Day 2
Day trip to Catalina Island.
You’ll start today with an hour-long ferry ride to Catalina Island. Situated just 22 miles off the coast of Southern California, Santa Catalina Island is a rugged paradise well worth a visit.
Experience the picturesque main town of Avalon, strolling the waterfront promenade and indulging in fresh seafood; pack your swimwear for exquisite beaches like Two Harbours and Lovers Cove; hike stunning trails like the Trans-Catalina Trail or the Garden to Sky Summit Trail; pre-book golf at Catalina Island Golf Course; or take a glass-bottom boat tour to observe the islands’ fascinating marine life. The last ferries back to your hotel leave around 8.30-9pm so you can easily make a full day of your visit.
Day 3
Depart Los Angeles for your next destination.
Take a private transfer back to Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) from your hotel in Newport Beach.
