On this quick 3-day itinerary, you’ll get to stay at a luxurious seaside resort in the picturesque bay of Newport Beach, relaxing by the sea, indulging in fresh local cuisine or hiking the beautiful coastline and inland wilderness of Crystal Cove State Park. Then, you’ll have a day trip to the beautiful Catalina Island. Situated just 22 miles off the coast of Southern California, Santa Catalina is a rugged paradise.

From the picturesque main town of Avalon, strolling the waterfront promenade to swimming at exquisite beaches like Two Harbours and Lovers Cove and hiking stunning trails like the Trans-Catalina Trail or the Garden to Sky Summit Trail that boasts views of the Pacific Ocean, you’ll be in for an unexpected treat before continuing on your journey the following day.
