Olé Caribe
Traditional resort-style hotel near Caracas’ Simón Bolívar airport, offering an alternative to staying in the crowded city.
This resort-style hotel sits on a hill on the Caribbean coast just north of Caracas, commanding a view over the ocean. It’s just a short drive away from the international airport, offering a more relaxed alternative to staying in the busy and rather charmless capital.
Guestrooms are well-equipped and traditional in style. The pleasant landscaped gardens surround a swimming pool, gym and tennis court. There are also a number of restaurants and bars.

The traffic into downtown Caracas from the international airport can be pretty horrendous so staying at the out-of-town Ole Caribe makes the most sense for those not planning to hang around in Caracas. The hotel itself is comfortable, if unremarkable, but you can at least enjoy the large swimming pool and wake up to views over the ocean after a quiet nights sleep.
