Homely guesthouse in a pleasant colonial-style building with simple rooms and a peaceful garden patio.
Located in the tiny village of Altamira with its colourful, mural-adorned houses, Posada Caceres is a smart white building whose shuttered windows overlook a square shaded by huge mango trees. Although the guest rooms are quite basic, with plain décor, ventilator fan and mosquito net, the plants and antiques dotted around them lend a homely touch. There is an informal dining room and a peaceful garden patio where you can enjoy the cool of the evening in an armchair or hammock.
What our clients say
Highlight: Sorry but its several! Canaima, two moments, going behind the curtain of water in the Sapo Waterfall and the view of the whole Angel Falls from the viewpoint after a rather exhausting climb. Our drive through the Andes. Horse riding in Hato Cristero in the sunset, all the birds coming to the trees for the night.MAC, Salford
“Three areas that we will never forget - Lagoon, Angel Falls and Playa de Uva. Amazing places, breath taking views and undescribable experiences!”WMC, Deeside
Most memorable experience: “All of Venezuela except Caracas and Margarita. The Delta and Los Llanos and Angel Falls were fantastic.”AM, Woodbridge
