Kichic is a trendy, new-age style boutique hotel right on the Pacific beach at Mancora, Peru.

KiChic is an innovative little hotel which really does deserve its ’boutique’ tag. It is set on a quiet beach close to from the lively surf resort Máncora on the Pacific coast of northern Peru. It is the embodiment of ‘rustic chic’, blending harmoniously with the garden greenery of the landscape yet offering superior comfort. There are just nine beautifully furnished rooms and suites, each individually decorated, with double or four poster beds with mosquito netting, floor to ceiling windows or French windows, cool tiles d floors and matted or gabled ceilings, all in earthy colours. A lap-pool lies alongside the sandy beach fringing the property.

The atmosphere is very serene: the property might be described as upmarket New Age (Ki means universal life force in old Japanese), the restaurant is sophisticated vegetarian (seafood dishes served), massages are offered and yoga classes are a big deal here. Spend time relaxing, exploring the beach, or whale-watching in season (Jul-Nov). Service is very friendly and helpful. (Minimum age of guests is 14 years.)
