The Intercontinental Presidente is a family-friendly, modern beach hotel in a peaceful area of the party town Cancún on the Mayan Riviera.

The Intercontinental Presidente, a modern hotel and beach resort in Cancún, overlooks the Caribbean Sea and is separated from the busier part of town by Nichupte Lagoon.

It’s a largeish property occupying a white modern block – a little bland maybe, with just under 300 bright guest rooms furnished in a contemporary, business-like style with large windows and a fresh décor. There are two restaurants, a café, a beach bar and a tequila bar and terrace. The hotel hosts conferences and weddings, and is also facilities and services for families with children.

The quiet location makes for a potentially peaceful few days on the beach and the hotel's soft creamy sands are among the most attractive on this section of the Mayan Riviera. We’d also recommend a night or two here at the start or end of a holiday exploring the Yucatán or further afield in Mexico (there’s parking, an important facility if you have a hire car).
