A leisurely 10-minute walk from Antigua’s central plaza, Los Pasos occupies a typically unassuming historic casona on one of this delightful town’s cobbled streets.

Yet beyond the threshold you’ll find a refined, small hotel with a tranquil atmosphere, very much a retreat from Antigua’s busy comings and goings. Among the things we particularly appreciate about this property is its terrace and garden where one can relax, have an al-fresco breakfast, or simply enjoy the views.

Guest rooms and suites feature striking stylistic touches such as woven Guatemalan textiles, decorative tiling and wrought-iron bed frames, to complement the modern amenities of air-con and luxury linens. Suites have their own jacuzzi, and further relaxation can be found at the on-site spa and sauna.

If your feet are weary from treading Antigua’s timeworn cobbles and ornate churches there’s no need to venture out for dinner: there’s a well-regarded bar and restaurant on the premises.
