Pebble Island Lodge
Warm and welcoming Inn retaining the atmosphere of a traditional Falkland Islands farmhouse, situated on the rugged and spectacular Pebble Island.
The warm, homely and welcoming Pebble Island Lodge is part of Pebble Island's only settlement, perched on a narrow isthmus near the sweeping sands of Elephant Beach. The island's diverse geography spans mountains, moors, wetlands and dramatic cliffs buffeted by ocean waves.
There are six guestrooms, each with bright décor and a cosy ambience, as well as a living room, honesty bar and dining room: the setting for delicious home-cooked meals. Photos and memorabilia on the walls hint at your hosts' enthusiasm for the history and magnificent wildlife of the Falklands – they can arrange guided jeep tours of Pebble Island tailored to your individual interests.

Our Expert's Opinion
Set on one of the largest and most geographically diverse islands in the archipelago, Pebble Island Lodge was a great base not only for the fantastic wildlife opportunities (I saw 4 species of Penguin here) but also for learning about a daring SAS raid that took place here. I also appreciated the hiking opportunities in the rugged mountains and along the longest white sand beach in the islands! A great all-rounder.
