Cycling in the Vinales valley

col03-Bogotabybike-FionaR-free

Take a bike tour around Viñales and the spectacular surrounding area, visiting a tobacco plantation and the eerie Cueva del Indio.

Cycling is an ideal way to explore the flat terrain of the Viñales valley, with its sheer limestone monoliths known as mogotes rising up above you. Pedalling through fairyland tableaus with a breeze in your hair, you can cover a much greater distance than on foot without distancing yourself from the natural environment.

Our biking tour visits the valley’s key sights, including the colourful Prehistoric Mural painted on the side of a mogote, a working tobacco farm and the spectacular Cueva del Indio, where you can float along a subterranean river to admire the stalactites within the otherworldly depths of a large cave.
