One of the world's leading boutique hotels Nayara Springs villas is a luxury retreat for couples in the lush foliage of Arenal Volcano National Park.

This award-winning Relais & Chateaux boutique property represents the ultimate in first-class indulgence, set in luxuriant Costa Rican countryside, surrounded by tropical rainforest beneath iconic Arenal Volcano.

The grounds shared with sister property Nayara Gardens have become a sanctuary for wildlife following an extensive reforestation programme, including sloths, armadillos, howler and spider monkeys, as well as abundant birdlife.

This romantic hotel has a range of secluded palapa-style villas, each spacious and beautifully appointed with a blend of traditional and modern furnishings, including polished teak flooring, beamed ceilings, furnishings in earthy colours, king-sized four-poster bed, and private garden terrace with plunge pools fed by local hot springs, and outdoor shower shaded by palms and flowering shrubs. The villas have impeccable attention to detail with dual rain showers, expansive bathrooms, indoor and outdoor sitting areas, air-con, Wifi, and complimentary laundry service.

The hotel has three restaurants, offering fine dining, Italian and private romantic dinners. There is also a fitness room, comprehensive spa, daily complimentary yoga classes and two pools, one with music on the terrace and another for peaceful relaxation. A highlight of the grounds are the tropical gardens and the Perezoso Trail, where resident sloths can be spotted.

Optional activities available include river rafting, horse riding, ziplining, hiking. The resort also runs free bird-watching tours at dawn and frog scouting tours after dusk through its forested grounds.

Nayara Springs is connected by a rainforest hanging bridge to sister hotel Nayara Gardens, the facilities of which the Nayara Springs guests can use. However, to protect the privacy and exclusive feel to the couples-orientated Nayara Springs, this is not reciprocal.
