Bright and contemporary lakeside hotel with an impressive lookout room housed within its gabled roof.

Somewhat resembling a large alpine mansion, this lakeside hotel at Puerto Varas is is bright and contemporary. Formerly the hotel Colonos Mirador, Park Inn by Radisson has an impressive mirador (lookout) housed within the gabled roof, offering panoramic views across Lake Llanquihue and towards Osorno volcano from its wall-to-wall windows. Guest rooms are rather snug but many have excellent views. There’s a restaurant and bar, a spa with a sauna and massage rooms, a gym and two small plunge pools, including one on the top floor with water jets and a domed glass roof.
