Hotel Coloso

Well-located hotel with relatively high standards of comfort that make up for its lack of obvious charm.

The clean and comfortable Hotel Coloso has a central location within easy reach of Potosí's main attractions. The design and layout resemble those of a typical chain hotel, but with traditional European-style accommodation still quite a rarity in Bolivia Hotel Coloso is a cut above the vast majority of the city's other options.

The hotel has a fairly grand entrance leading to a large, modern reception area and marble-floored lobby. Facilities include a restaurant, swimming pool, sauna, hot tub and a bar with a quirky mining theme. Guestrooms are large and relatively well-equipped, though the cream, brown and beige colour scheme may evoke memories of the 1970s.
