Villa Chiquitana

Villa Chiquitana

A smart, modern hotel with a decent range of facilities, a good base for visiting the mission church at San José de Chiquitos.

Villa Chiquitana is the most upmarket accommodation in San José Chiquitos, situated 1km from the centre of this town on the UNESCO listed Jesuit mission circuit. It is a modern hotel run by a Frenchman and the management’s experience shows in the efficient and friendly service.  There are 12 rooms, but they are in the process of enlarging to 17, on two floors (2015).

The rooms and suites are well sized and furnished. All rooms have air-conditioning, TV and minibar. The new rooms will be similar. There is both internet access and Wi-fi. You’ll find an unheated pool large enough for swimming and even a volleyball court in the extensive garden, a cafeteria and a gift-shop.
