Inspired by the ancient Inca civilisation,  Journey Latin America’s Inca Garden, co-sponsored by British Airways, sought to evoke a sense of adventure, travel and exploration of a mysterious historic culture. Our Inca Garden was displayed at the RHS Hampton Court Palace Flower Show from 5-10 July 2016 and with the show and the garden being such a success, we thought we’d share some of the highlights...

Construction started two and a half weeks before the show. With our 100 square metre empty plot ready, our designer and skilled stonemasons who hand-built the terrace walling got to work and our Inca Garden soon began to take shape.

We were delighted when our Inca Garden was awarded a Silver Medal by the RHS Hampton Court Palace Flower Show judges.

There was some huge buzz around our garden when celebrated garden designer and television presenter, James Wong, stopped by to film a feature on our edible Inca plants, such as quinoa and oca, for his BBC Two programme.

Our Inca Garden also featured in the opening sequence of BBC Two’s RHS Hampton Court Palace Flower Show programme, presented by Monty Don and Joe Swift.

And then, just like that, it was all over! We were thrilled with how our garden turned out and would like to thank everyone who came along to visit our Inca Garden, co-sponsored by British Airways. We'd also like to congratulate our garden designer, Jennifer Jones, on an outstanding garden and a wonderful show.
