Have you been before?

Yes, 15 years ago.

Were there notable differences?

There were many changes, on arrival I noticed so many modern cars as taxis. Lots more restaurants and shops in Havana and Trinidad. I remember being shocked at the complete lack of shops for locals when I first visited, now there isn't a lot more, but many more tourist shops.

How did you get there?

Flew with Air France via Paris.

How long were you there for?

11 days

General route?

Starting off with a few days on the beach in Jibacoa then onto Havana, Viñales, Santa Clara and Trinidad then back to Havana.

Which was your favourite?

Place: Trinidad and Havana both battle for first place.

Hotel: Hostal Madero in Havana.

Excursion: Classic car tour in Havana.
