Journey Latin America Email Competition – Terms & Conditions 

1.  Promoter
   The promoter is Journey Latin America, registered in England with registered office at 401 King Street, London W6 9NJ. Contact: marketing@journeylatinamerica.com
2.  The Promotion
   2.1. The promotion is a free prize draw (the “Promotion”) to win one (1) copy of Sunny Days, Taco Nights: A Cookbook by Enrique Olvera (the “Prize”).
   2.2. No purchase necessary. Entry is free.
3.  Eligibility
   3.1. Open to UK residents aged 18 or over at the time of entry.
   3.2. Employees of the Promoter, its agents, suppliers, immediate family members, or anyone professionally connected with the Promotion are not eligible.
   3.3. Entries must be made personally by the entrant. Entries via agents, third parties, organised groups, macros, scripts, or automated methods are not permitted and will be disqualified.
   3.4. One entry per person. Multiple entries from the same person will be void.
4.  Promotional Period
   4.1. Opening Date 30 October 2025, 17:00 (UK time).
   4.2. Closing Date: 07 November 2025, 23:59 (UK time).
   4.3. Entries received after the Closing Date will not be accepted.
5.  How to Enter
   5.1. To enter, email your answer to the question, “What are the two main ingredients in Mole?”, to competition@journeylatinamerica.com before the Closing Date.
   5.2. Please include your full name in your entry.
   5.3. The correct answer will be determined by the Promoter using its preset answer key. Only entries that match the Promoter’s answer key will be included in the Prize draw.
   5.4. The Promoter is not responsible for lost, delayed, misdirected, incomplete, corrupted, or undeliverable entries (including due to spam filters, mailbox issues, or technical faults). Proof of sending is not proof of receipt.
6.  Selection of the Winner
   6.1. One (1) winner will be selected at random from all eligible, correct entries received by the Closing Date.
   6.2. The random draw will take place within 7 days of the Closing Date under independent supervision or using a verifiable randomisation method.
   6.3. The Promoter’s decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
7.  The Prize
   7.1. One (1) copy of Sunny Days, Taco Nights: A Cookbook by Enrique Olvera.
   7.2. The Prize is non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and no cash or credit alternative is available.
   7.3. If the Prize becomes unavailable for reasons beyond the Promoter’s control, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value.
8.  Notification & Claiming the Prize
   8.1. The winner will be notified by email to the address used for entry within 7 days of the draw.
   8.2. The winner must respond and claim the Prize within 7 days of notification. Failure to respond in time may result in forfeiture and selection of an alternate winner.
   8.3. The Prize will be dispatched to a UK postal address only provided by the winner within 28 days of claim confirmation. The Promoter may request proof of age and identity before award or dispatch.
9. Data Protection
   9.1. The Promoter is the data controller for entries and will process personal data to administer the Promotion (lawful basis: legitimate interests and/or performance of a contract where applicable).
   9.2. Personal data will be handled in accordance with applicable data protection laws, including the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018, and the Promoter’s Privacy Policy: https://www.journeylatinamerica.com/privacy-policy/.
   9.3. Data will be retained only for as long as necessary to administer the Promotion and comply with legal obligations, then securely deleted.
   9.4. Marketing communications will only be sent where you have provided explicit consent. Consent is not a condition of entry and can be withdrawn at any time.
10. Liability
    10.1. The Promoter is not liable for: (a) entries not received due to technical, network, or email issues; (b) any loss, damage, or injury arising from participation in the Promotion or acceptance of the Prize, except where caused by the Promoter’s negligence or fraud; or (c) any failure to comply with these T&Cs due to events beyond its reasonable control.
    10.2. Nothing in these T&Cs limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded. 
11. Fairness & Disqualification
    11.1. The Promoter reserves the right to verify eligibility and disqualify any entrant it reasonably believes has breached these T&Cs, manipulated or tampered with the entry process, or engaged in fraudulent, dishonest, or abusive conduct.
    11.2. The Promoter reserves the right to suspend, vary, or cancel the Promotion where it becomes necessary to do so, provided that such changes do not materially disadvantage entrants.
