Destinations 2026: Win a holiday to Costa Rica and Canada

The holiday prize will first explore the wildlife-rich rainforests of Costa Rica in Central America over 5 nights – including a coffee tour, white water rafting, canopy walks, nature tours, volcanoes and thermal hot springs – and will finish with 2 nights in cosmopolitan Toronto located in Eastern Canada with a guided tour of the spectacular Niagara Falls. The prize also includes flights from London Heathrow with Air Canada, transfers, high-quality hotels as well as excursions and meals where specified.

Terms and Conditions:
• There is one prize of an 8-night holiday for two people in Costa Rica and Canada, including 2 nights in San José, 3 nights in Arenal and 2 nights in Toronto occupying one room in good-quality hotels. 1 night will spent on the plane flying back to the UK.
• Breakfast is included daily at the hotels in Costa Rica, and 3 lunches in Costa Rica are also included.
• Private transfers in Costa Rica and Canada and international flights from the UK in economy class are also included.
• All flights are in economy with Air Canada departing from London Heathrow (Terminal 2) on the outbound to San José, Costa Rica via Eastern Canada, either Toronto or Montreal. The winner and their guest will need to change planes in Canada to board the connection to Costa Rica. The flying time from London Heathrow to Toronto or Montreal is between 7-8 hours. The flying time from Montreal or Toronto to San José is between 5-6 hours. The flight is likely to be a day flight arriving late afternoon or early evening into Costa Rica.

• The return flight from Costa Rica will be with Air Canada departing from San José, Costa Rica to Toronto, direct and non-stop.
• The return flight to the UK will be with Air Canada from Toronto direct and non-stop to London Heathrow.
• 1 piece of checked-in luggage weighing a maximum of 23 kilos per person is included on all flights.
• Seats are available to book online and free of charge at the time of check-in, usually 24-hours before the departure, and are subject to availability. Should the winner and their guest choose to book their seats in advance, the airline will charge a fee.
• The winner and guest must complete the ETA (Electronic Travel Authorisation).
• The holiday also includes shared guided tours to Doka Coffee Estate, Poás Volcano National Park, a boat tour in the Caño Negro Wildlife Reserve and a guided walk along the Mistico hanging bridges through the jungle canopy. In Canada we include a shared guided tour to the iconic Niagara Falls.
• The prize does NOT include transfers to the airport in the UK, any meals other than those stated or spending money. Inoculations, visas, tips and adequate travel insurance are the responsibility of the winner and are not covered by the prize.

• The winner will be picked at random and contacted by email on Thursday 5th February 2026.

• The winner must book their travel by 31 March 2026 and complete all travel between:
• 1 May – 31 May 2026
• 7 September – 30 October 2026

• Dates are subject to availability. Alternative travel dates are not available.
• Once the trip is booked and confirmed, any amendments to the booking will be at the winner’s cost.
• Entrants must be UK residents aged 18 years or over and in possession of a full UK passport. Employees of Journey Latin America, Journeyscape, DERTOUR or their families or any agencies or persons connected with this competition may not enter.
• The winner may be required to submit valid identification before receiving their prize.
