Luxurious cruises in the Peruvian Amazon on small, chic contemporary expedition vessels with personalised service.

Delfin’s fleet of innovative expeditionary vessels ( Delfin l, Delfin ll and Delfin lll ) explores the tributaries of the Amazon river, the protected forests along its banks and the communities which speckle the shoreline. Externally, they resemble the traditional Amazon riverboats which you can still see moored on the quays of river ports and which are still the principal form of transport for goods and people in the region. The boats have been designed, however, to maximise the jungle experience of guests, with massive floor-to-ceiling picture windows in the sleek contemporary cabins and public areas allowing unobstructed views of the riverbanks, islands, and the wildlife – especially the birds flitting along the water’s surface or between the trees of the forest canopy.

Delfin welcomes guests looking for an intimate, high-end, service-oriented river cruise, with personalised attention from a well trained crew and qualified naturalist guides and gourmet Peruvian cuisine. Delfin l offers the ultimate in luxury, with just four over-sized suites with private terrace, two of which have their own Jacuzzi.  There’s a superb open air observation deck with deluxe sofas and a bar, so that you can watch the sunset in comfort with a cocktail in your hand.  Delfin ll is larger, receiving up to 30 guests in similarly light and spacious suites with polished hardwood floors and state-of-the-art furnishings and fittings.  She has an impressive range of facilities including a spa, lecture room and library as well as a bar and observation deck. Delfin lll, the largest with accommodation for 43 guests  is the most recent addition to the fleet.

Guided excursions to visit more closely the creeks and corners of Pacaya Samiria National Park take place on motorised skiffs carrying a maximum of 10 passengers.
