Hotel Arennas Mancora

Hotel Arennas Mancora

Arennas is a high quality, chic hotel offering relaxation in a  contemporary ambiance on a soft-sand Pacific beach.

Arennas is a long-standing hotel on the rapidly developing stretch of Pacific coast, close to the animated little town of Mancora but isolated from any of that surf and party town’s exuberance. It’s a relaxing place which has been recreated (2013) with a Scandinavian-style minimalist décor in fashionable beiges, cream and grey and slim-line furnishings. The guest rooms are spacious and bright. The villas also have a private pool or Jacuzzi.

The Gourmet restaurant offers sophisticated Peruvian fusion cuisine. All in all it is an attractive and seductive place where you may be tempted to spend your time lolling about on a sun lounger round the pool,  or sipping a cocktail on your terrace as you watch the apricot sunset beyond the extensive palm garden dip under  the horizon of the Pacific Ocean. But you may also be inspired to go deep sea fishing, whale watching or horse riding on the beach, all activities organised at the property.

What our clients say

  • Highilght: Watching condors rise on the thermals in Sondondo.

    RE, London
  • "All of it was memorable in different ways as the culture is so different. We found the Peruvian people helpful and cheerful. We enjoyed Arequipa, the Colca Canyon and Lake…

    GH, Keighley
  • Most Memorable Moment?: Machu Pichu probably the best experience but the train journey there was amazing (and unexpectedly so).

    TA, Edinburgh
  • We had a private tour, which we think was the best way to do this sort of trip.  Although we had only 9 days in Peru in the Cuzco area,…

    PS, Reading
  • Inca Trail: This was an incredible experience. The guide/porters were extremely helpful and knowledgeable.

    DH, Aylesbury
  • Machu Picchu was the most memorable part of the trip. The rain forest was fun. We loved the Andean Express train journey too.

Our Expert's Opinion

The north coast of Peru might not be where most people think of for a beach stay but the area is beautiful and really worth a visit. This hotel is one of my favourites, set right on the beach only steps away from the Pacific it's a great place to relax for a few nights with a lovely pool and excellent restaurant.
