This is an authentic, challenging adventure for experienced drivers, as – with the security of a support vehicle alongside you -  you take charge of your own vehicle and climb up from the desert coast into the ice-mantled Andes and Cusco, then on down towards the jungle.  

From the frosty highlands you pass through remote sierras, canyons with excitable rivers, little-visited colonial towns and craft villages steeped in indigenous culture.  Drive through misty cloudforest to reach the succulent foliage of the Amazon jungle basin. The scenery is extraordinary, the driving is a thrill a minute.
