When to go to Portobelo and Caribbean Coast
December - April
These are the best months to visit both Portobelo and the San Blas Islands. The weather is balmy at 25 - 30°C, and rainfall from January through to early April is low. In February, various islands of the archipelago celebrate the Tula Revolution with traditional Kuna dances and feasts.
