With the reliable quality of the brand and a decent location in Panama City’s Cangrejo district, the Hilton Garden Inn represents an affordable base for exploring the nation’s busy capital.

The area has many hotels and other services, so you are within a short cab ride of a range of eateries. Guest rooms are bright and well-equipped, with coffee maker, mini-fridge and an in-room safe. Meanwhile, the hotel’s facilities include a restaurant and coffee shop, fitness centre and small rooftop pool with views of the city’s high-rise skyline.

Whilst it may not compete with the charm and character of the fancy boutique hotels of the Casco Viejo, we think the Hilton Garden Inn offers unbeatable value for money for the standard offered. You can reach Casco Viejo – the capital’s atmospheric colonial district – by cab in around 15 minutes.
