This adults-only boutique hotel is ideally located in the heart of Panama City's historic Casco Viejo with a gourmet restaurant and rooftop jacuzzi.

Being a heritage building the guest rooms vary in size and presentation and come with either queen or king-size beds with luxurious bedding. All are air-conditioned and furnished with handmade artisan furniture, antiques, local photography and artwork, with silk kimonos and slippers for guests, as well as free Wifi and coffee from the Boquete region. The rooftop terrace commands stunning views over Casco Viejo and Panama Bay.

Enjoy a cocktail from the bar before discovering the gourmet cuisine at Kaandela Restaurant, specialising in a fusion of Latin American and Asian dishes. Choose from having your food cooked in front of you in the kitchen or served on the patio adorned with palm trees and orchids. Casco Viejo, also known as San Felipe, is Panama City's most historic district and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Staying here, you'll find the Presidential Palace, Cathedral, National Theatre and the Plaza de Francia all a short walk away.

What our clients say

  • Top experiences in Panama - going through the canal and exploring Panama City and surrounding area. I was surprised to find that Panama is not just the Canal Zone!

  • Because of my interest in shipping, the Panama Canal partial transit was fascinating.

    JB Apr 2012
  • Each part of my trip had a special moment. I loved both the new and old parts of Panama city, but my highlight there was seeing sloths while walking up…

    TF, Wakefield Jun 2018
  • We enjoyed all locations which were very diverse and equally memorable.

    IB, Chesterfield Apr 2017
  • Most Memorable Moment?: Too hard to choose one. Panama Canal Transit was a lifelong ambition.

    NA, London Mar 2017
  • We didn't realise the partial canal transit would be in such a big boat with loads of other tourists - not a problem, but would have been good for this…
