Lively Nicaraguan/Canadian-owned hotel offering all you need for a Caribbean beach break.

Casa Canada is a Nicaraguan/Canadian-owned resort at the southern end of Big Corn Island, a short drive from the airport. The nearest beach – a lovely stretch of white sand – is just a few minutes’ walk away.

There’s a choice of cabins with views of the ocean or standard rooms in the main building, all with tiled floors, simple décor and verandas where you can unwind in a rocking chair. There’s also a swimming pool overlooking the sea, and a seafood restaurant and bar.

What our clients say

  • Great position...very friendly helpful staff. Restaurant a little canteen like, so we ate out at local restaurants,  taken by cheap local taxi

Our Expert's Opinion

This is the best accommodation on these undeveloped islands, and although the decor is a bit quirky, it reflects the 1950s style that embodies the pace of life on the Corns. The rooms are ultra-comfy, and the seafront pool is a delight. The restaurant is decent, but a short taxi ride will take you to excellent alternatives.
