Exclusive and intimate property with a romantic, peaceful ambience and discreet, highly personal service. An excellent choice for honeymoons or anniversaries.

The exclusive, intimate boutique Le Reve is set beside a long stretch of white sandy beach, studded with boulders. Occupying an isolated spot, it is both within easy reach of and seemingly a world away from the lively resort town of Playa del Carmen.

The romantic, adults-only property prides itself on its harmonious atmosphere: enjoy the soothing sound of the gentle waves and whispering palms. Guest rooms in the main building have either a garden or sea view; there’s also lovely accommodation in thatched beach bungalows beside the shore, with private patio, plunge pool and uninterrupted ocean vistas.

Décor is minimalist and very stylish, with luxury linens and prominent use of local materials. In keeping with the peaceful ambience, there are no TVs. The informal and very well-regarded restaurant serves à la carte fare with a menu that changes daily, and is adjoined by a chic bar; you can also dine on the beach by firelight. The hotel has an idyllic infinity pool with Jacuzzi near the water's edge, a beach bar, small spa (massages, facials) and a gym with views of the ocean. Snorkels and kayaks are complimentary for guest use.
