Be Tulum is a boutique hotel on the sun-drenched shores of the Mayan Riviera.
Be Tulum is a boutique hotel on the sun-drenched shores of the Mayan Riviera. Small and intimate with personalised service, it has huge windows and leafy grounds which lend the place a real tropical feel. It’s for adults only, guaranteeing a truly relaxed environment.
10km south of the famous clifftop ruins of Tulum and just steps away from the vibrant turquoise ocean, this is the perfect secluded getaway and yet still less than two hours' drive from Cancun airport. The beautiful biosphere reserve of Sian Ka’an is very close by and makes for an idyllic day's exploration by bike, provided free for guests.
Although the accommodation is contemporary in style, a preponderance of natural materials such as thatched palapa roofs, wooden floors and sandstone walls help retain an authentic Mexican feel. The 20 dreamy, unfussy suites are very spacious and each has a private balcony with a screened open-air shower and either a private splash pool or Jacuzzi. The rooms are well-equipped with nice little up-to-date touches such as iPod docking stations. There is also a swimming pool and low-key bar and restaurant serving fresh seafood dishes throughout the day and a generously sized breakfast served al fresco in front of the ocean each morning.
