Tip Top II is a super-stable, 32m motor-driven catamaran, renovated in 2016 to take 16 guests on informal expedition cruises. It is stylish and business-like, and great value for its class. The uncluttered cabins are done up Scandanavian-style with polished decking and a feeling of space. All have either window or porthole.
The yacht has an interior passenger lounge in which to relax while on the outside decks you’ll find a congenial bar and dining area. There is a sun deck and area under shade with comfy chairs and side tables on which to set your cocktail while you enjoy a sunset view. Tip Top has eight crew and one qualified naturalist guide on board, so you can be assured of good and attentive service.
What our clients say
It's very difficult to pick out one thing. Seeing the animals everywhere we went was amazing. We fell in love with the sea-lions. I loved the walk up to the view over Pinnacle Rock and then being on the beach by the rock afterwards. Seeing a white tipped shark from the beach was something I never expected.NR, Swindon
Most Memorable Moment: Swimming with sea lions, following hundreds of dolphins on the boat, diving with penguinsKH, London
The attention to environmental concerns on the Galápagos was first rate. The national park is a pristine environment and every effort is being made to keep it that way.PT, Peterborough
Highlights?: Snorkelling with green turtles sea lions and penguinsPW, Twickenham
Galapagos was incredible. We loved it. The guides were all excellent and we especially enjoyed having guides with a naturalist qualification.LE, Poole
The Galápagos - just breathtaking - walking in woodland with wild giant tortoise grazing in clearings, watching wild land iguanas amble through long grasses, peering at eye level into the nests of red footed boobies, watching penguins and sea lions hunting fish whilst snorkelling, and as a finale, watching huge sharks circling in the boat lights during our final evening meal.JW, Newcastle
