State-of-the-art cruise vessel offering stability, a wide range of facilities and the highest crew to guest ratio in the Galapagos.

The sleek and gleaming Silver Origin’s design, ambiance and on and offshore activities reflect the trend towards experiential travel and take it to the Galápagos Islands. She offers a team of Ecuadorian expert guides, the highest crew-to-guest ratio in the Galápagos (90 crew for 100 guests), and eight Zodiacs – again, the highest zodiac to guest ratio in the region – so that you can easily explore on and off shore. Back on board you can expect spacious luxury suites with butler service, complimentary minibar and a veranda. Some suites feature ocean-view bathtubs or walk in showers. Dine in style and with panoramic views, choosing from a menu of top-quality Ecuadorian-inspired gourmet cuisine.

This is the most environmentally conscious ship in Silversea’s fleet and one of only two ships sailing in the Galápagos to feature dynamic positioning – there’s no anchor to damage the delicate ecosystem of the seabed. Silver Origin is also plastic free – guests will be gifted a metallic reusable bottle and reverse osmosis (whereby sea water is turned into drinking water) refilling stations will save at least 17,000 plastic bottles.
