Luxury Galápagos cruise ship for individuals, couples, friends and families, offering the space, stability and first class facilities that smaller vessels cannot provide.
A deservedly popular choice for those who prefer to cruise the Galápagos Islands on a larger ship offering more space, stability and a larger range of facilities than smaller craft can provide, the MV Santa Cruz can accommodate up to 90 passengers. Unlike many other Galápagos boats, her 43 cabins range from single to quadruple, making the Santa Cruz a particularly attractive option for families or lone travellers.
Facilities are first class: there is a cosy restaurant, lounge, library and sun deck with a bar, hot tub and comfy loungers. The décor is contemporary, featuring generous use of polished wood, and crisp white linen. There are 52 crew members, with an impressive seven naturalist guides including an underwater specialist, allowing for assistance to those less confident in the water. In fact, there is a genuine attempt to cater for varied age bands and interests, and guests are grouped accordingly with no more than 16 per group on excursions.
Other facilities and activities which make this ship stand out from the rest include a glass bottom offering an alternative view of the underwater world without the need to snorkel, and a special programme for children, who can have special meals and different mealtimes to the adults on board.
What our clients say
97% of our clients rated their experience with us as Excellent or Good.
I was sorry to leave
"I would guess that she is large for working in the Galápagos, that said, not that large isn't easy to interact with fellow cruisers and not feel overwhelmed. Cabins are comfortable and the food excellent. She is an elegant ship that I was sorry to leave."DW, Lingfield
