Celebrity Xploration (formerly Athala II)
Luxury catamaran with capacity for just 16 passengers, offering a private and personalised Galápagos cruise experience.
Following extensive refurbishment under the supervision of her new proprietors, the MV Xploration (formerly Athala II) returned to the Equatorial waters for which she was specifically designed, complete with stylish, modern interiors and a luxuriant and spacious sundeck. With a maximum of just 16 passengers, accommodated in eight double state rooms on two decks, the first class vessel offers a private and personalised Galápagos cruise experience.
Décor is refreshingly contemporary, with wood panelled floors, simple white walls and occasional artwork or splash of bright colour.
With her stable design for smooth sea travel, the catamaran has several spacious and comfortable relaxation areas on board, including a dining room, bar and separate lounge, al fresco dining areas and an outdoor Jacuzzi surrounded by sun loungers.
What our clients say
97% of our clients rated their experience with us as Excellent or Good.
Delighted to have done my research and chosen this lovely Catamaran. It is usually booked for family parties so lucky on this occasion. Balcony is small as expected but lovely to sit and watch the beautiful islands from. Crew were superb and looked after us extremely well. Hot drinks and snack waiting after every excursion and the chef produced wonders from the galley. Our guide was incredible. Such knowledge and passion about the beautiful area she worked in. Perfect English spoken. Cant fault this.KS Southampton
