Stanley's best hotel, a centrally located modern property on the harbour front.

Centrally located on the harbour front, Malvina House is undoubtedly the best accommodation in Port Stanley. It is a modern hotel: recently refurbished, comfortable and bright.

The spacious rooms are fairly businesslike in appearance, with a good range of facilities and smart décor; some have a harbour view. Colourful geometric designs predominate in the public areas of the hotel. There's a well-regarded restaurant, a bar and lounge, and a small spa with sauna and Jacuzzi.

What our clients say

  • On our first Falkland island - Bleaker - the property owner and her son met us at the airstrip and gave us an excellent orientation tour which enabled us to walk it on our own the next day (after they'd kindly got a couple of their staff to drop us at the far starting point) - and see lots of penguins. The helicopter tour we did to Volunteer Point from Stanley was fantastic - both the private helicopter ride and the 3 hours we spent at the amazing king penguin colony there.

  • Most memorable was getting to meet the Falklanders and listen to their chat about past history and way of life. Landscape and wildlife unique.

Ben fell in love with Latin America on a six month backpacking trip from Colombia to Mexico in 1995. Since then he has explored most of South America, including living in Peru for a year. He is now Head of Sales.

Although I was blessed with amazing sunny and temperate days for most of my week-long stay in the Falkland Islands, it can get bitterly cold, as it was during my stay in Port Stanley, when the wind is blowing and the sky is overcast. Malvina House was toasty warm, very comfortable and served an excellent hot breakfast. So, all in all, an ideal base for exploring the Islands’ capital and the outlying visitor sites.
