Super-cool Mangroove is a luxury, tree-shaded beach resort on Costa Rica's undeveloped Guanacaste Pacific coast.

Mangroove is an extremely smart and well regarded property describes itself as a bohemian-chic boutique resort, which actually does sum up its ambiance and attitude. Contemporary minimalist design, state of the art technology and an arty touch are brought together to create a high-class experience for guests. The standard of service is extremely high.

There’s a real wow about the place, the imaginative use of wood and themes from nature in the décor, the sharp, elongated 40m pool; the comprehensive spa with its individual treatment bungalows. The restaurant is extremely highly rated (private dining on request). There’s something here for everyone:  a multi-function gym or stand-up paddling are among activities on offer for the energetic, hammocks and armchairs where you can doze or read a book, and a ‘chill’ area by the pool where you can relax to the background of jazzy international ambient music.
