Amazonas B&B
Amazonas B&B is an attractive thatched guesthouse in Leticia, river port capital of Colombia's Amazon.
This friendly thatched hotel set in flowery grounds in central Leticia is jungle-rustic, but run with quiet and friendly efficiency. There are simply decorated guest rooms and cottages (bungalows) with wardrobe, safe, ventilator (no air-conditioning except in the family room). The cottages, built around the palm-dotted courtyard, have vaulted ceilings, with terrace, hammock and private bathrooms. All the accommodation is on one floor.
There is no pool or restaurant but plenty of eating options are a short walk away in the nearby town. There is a Jacuzzi on the property – you just have to ask for it to be filled - and bikes are available to rent. Wifi is sometimes picked up in the lobby.
