Amazonas B&B is an attractive thatched guesthouse in Leticia, river port capital of Colombia's Amazon.

This friendly thatched hotel set in flowery grounds in central Leticia is jungle-rustic, but run with quiet and friendly efficiency. There are simply decorated guest rooms and cottages (bungalows) with wardrobe, safe, ventilator (no air-conditioning except in the family room). The cottages, built around the palm-dotted courtyard, have vaulted ceilings, with terrace, hammock and private bathrooms. All the accommodation is on one floor.

There is no pool or restaurant but plenty of eating options are within a short walk nearby in town. There is however a Jacuzzi on the property – you just have to ask for it to be filled - and bikes are available to rent. Wifi is sometimes picked up in the lobby.
