Simple, peaceful and pretty guesthouse set amongst delightful gardens with views over the beautiful surrounding hills and mountains.

The small, simple and charming Hacienda Anacaona is located in a rural setting a short drive from San Agustín, and evokes a peaceful country feel. It's a pretty place, set amongst delightful gardens brimming with tropical plants and flowers, and looking out over rippling green hillside.

The building itself is in a colonial style typical of Colombia, with whitewashed walls, tiled roofs, exposed wooden beams and hammocks strewn along the sunny terraces. Guestrooms are basic but spacious. There's a restaurant, and the hotel can arrange local excursions such as horse riding.

Our Expert's Opinion

Hacienda Anacoana is more like a country guest house than a hotel, with many antiques, knick-knacks, and other quirky features recalling its past. The flowery gardens are gorgeous.
