Small, homely guesthouse on the edge of Salento with magnificent views of the Cocora Valley.

Offering sweeping vistas over the Cocora Valley, this hotel has a fantastic location just a short walk uphill from the town of Salento.

El Mirador del Cocora has 16 rooms which are bright and pleasantly decorated. The most spacious rooms have balcony or terrace with views over the valley, while some also add hot tubs.

There is a small sitting area with fireplace and a communal terrace for enjoying the spectacular views. Wi-Fi is available throughout the hotel.

What our clients say

  • A trip with JLA is a trip with the local experts. They can respond quickly to challenges such as FCO advice not to visit an area and know the local…

    HR, Brentford Jun 2013
  • San Agustin (was the highlight)...which was superb.

    DB, London Jan 2020
  • The whole trip was really enjoyable, the amount of wildlife (turtles, crocodiles, armadillo, anteater, monkeys etc etc!) and scenery we saw met all expectations. All well organised and minor problems…

    HT, Cardiff Aug 2019
  • Our first visit (to Colombia) has stimulated a desire to return to experience more of this beautiful, friendly and welcoming country

    GG, Banf Jul 2012
  • It was a superb trip, I don’t think our feedback really conveyed how much we enjoyed Colombia particularly. It really exceeded our expectations. Los Llanos was super superb.

    SM, Helensburgh Jul 2019
  • Colombia is a fascinating country with very friendly people. It is opening up to tourism, after years of conflict, and offers the prospect of an exciting, varied and economic holiday.
