Sofitel Barú Calablanca Beach Resort is a new stylish and sophisticated resort with a powdery white sand beach on Isla Baru. Just 40-minutes from Cartagena by catamaran, this is the place to go for a relaxing beach escape within easy reach of the city.

A striking piece of architecture, the resort has 164 rooms and 23 suites which are spacious, breezy and carefully designed to reflect the natural environment that surrounds them. Every room boasts a private balcony or terrace with unobstructed panoramic sea views, and bathrooms have showers and bathtubs plus luxury L’Occitane amenities.

As you would expect from the prestigious Sofitel brand, it delivers on its promise of a high standard of service. There are three restaurants and seven bars for you to enjoy each with its own distinct theme, and other facilities include five swimming pools, spa, gym and a kid’s club for ages 5-12.
