This property, a genuine boutique hotel rather than a traditional colonial-style hacienda like many other properties in the area, compliments its setting in glorious fertile countryside with its tiled roof and generous use of polished dark wood and leather throughout. There are around 20 rooms and suites - some have terrace, others a patio with hammock, others a balcony - and are decorated with travel mementos to give it a retro ambiance while being furnished with mod cons such as air conditioning and Wi-Fi. There's a terrace restaurant and flower garden with an outdoor pool, sun loungers, Jacuzzi and a spa. Cookery classes and a range of other experiences can be arranged locally.

  • It was a superb trip, I don’t think our feedback really conveyed how much we enjoyed Colombia particularly. It really exceeded our expectations. Los Llanos was super superb.

  • Highlight: Tayrona National Park trekking and meeting the local community in nature environment.

    JS, Harrow
  • Very hard to say which was the most memorable: flour and shaving cream fights in San Agustin on New Year's Eve; stunning views of the Magdalena, both in the South…

    WR, London
  • The whole trip was really enjoyable, the amount of wildlife (turtles, crocodiles, armadillo, anteater, monkeys etc etc!) and scenery we saw met all expectations. All well organised and minor problems…

    HT, Cardiff
  • Colombia is a fascinating country with very friendly people. It is opening up to tourism, after years of conflict, and offers the prospect of an exciting, varied and economic holiday.
