Villa Amazonia is a contemporary mid-range hotel with colonial features and good facilities in the centre of Manaus in the Brazilian Amazon.

Just a stone’s throw from Manaus downtown Opera House, Villa Amazonia is a converted colonial home and something of a haven in the city.

Its grandiose entrance, complete with ornate, lemon-tinted façade leads into a reception area combining original stone walls and a wood-panelled ceiling. This, along with the friendly service and collection of decorative antiques, cultivates a warm, homely atmosphere throughout.

Guest rooms continue the blend of modern and traditional, with marbled bathrooms and rainmaker showers complementing the classic style.

The in-house restaurant offers a tropical take on many familiar classics. Other standout features include an outdoor swimming pool and private garden, over which most rooms have a view.
